Bachelor of Laws LLB

Our Bachelor of Laws LLB has been the first step in the careers of thousands of practising lawyers around the world. The reason so many students internationally study this law degree is because it is very prestigious.

Overview

The Bachelor of Laws degree is an internationally recognised award that you can study flexibly, in places like the Caribbean, Africa, Singapore, China, Australia, Canada, and anywhere in the world. The focus of the course is different from other UK law schools. We challenge students by making them develop a critical awareness of the common law legal tradition and apply problem-solving skills to a range of contemporary and up-to-date legal issues, through our own curriculum.

If you would like to be a part of Westminster, you can enrol with us from anywhere around the world and benefit from the support of our live LLB online sessions. Spaces are subject to availability. Throughout the whole of your degree, you will continue to work with several law tutors for each subject.

Our Approach

Our tuition will give you the academic direction needed. Our law tutoring will focus on the most important aspects of the material presented in each module guide. The student’s understanding of essential subjects, learning activities, and how to organise their academic study is expanded with each new tutoring session.

Your exam preparation will be the primary emphasis of our law revision, which normally takes place in the months leading up to the exam period. We address problem question answering and essay writing on major subjects of what is expected to come up in exams using past exam papers, exam updates, and examiners reports. We also provide extensive information of what examiners are looking for in an examination answer.

Study Materials

No matter what kind of legal education you choose to pursue, you will be provided with the same student resources. We will make available to you notes and study materials that we have created. These will complement the material provided to you, such as the:

  1. Module guides
  2. Statute books (for all modules where they are permitted in the examination)
